Adjustable Square Truss Double Hinge Connector 90° to 180°

With its 90°–180° adjustable design, this double truss hinge connector makes it easy to set your truss at the exact angle you need. Whether you are building a small stage setup or a larger roof structure, you can simply adjust the angle, position it correctly, and then secure it firmly in place.
Once tightened, the hinge connector creates a strong and stable joint, helping your truss system stay aligned and safe during use. It is made from high-quality aluminum alloy, which makes it lightweight yet durable — ideal for repeated installation and dismantling in event projects.

Product Features

Unrestricted Versatility: The double arc-slot design promotes effortless angle shifting between 90°and 180°. It will remain fixed in whatever position you want, allowing you to work with multiple connection angles and uneven layouts with ease, particularly when dealing with custom fabrication or non-standard configurations.
Lightweight Industrial-level Construction: The connector has awesome load bearing capacity and corrosion resistance which makes it ideal for outdoor use aluminum construction enables industrial level load bearing capacity but in a lightweight design to ease handling during installation.
Durable and Corrosion Resistant: The coating has rust, scratch, and wear resistance for prolonged both indoor and outdoor use during long term site installation or touring.
Universal Fit: Custom sizes can be offered for non-standard truss systems and has been manufactured for 290mm/300mm/400mm square trusses which are in a large part used globally in the stage truss industry.
Precision Engineering: The curved slots and connection holes are precisely machined to ensure smooth adjustment and accurate alignment with the truss tubes. This eliminates wobbling and maintains complete structural integrity.
Installation Tips
Truss Preparation
Before starting, take a moment to check the truss end. Make sure it’s clean, flat, and not bent or damaged. This ensures the joint fits properly and safely. Place the adjustable joint against the truss end plate and align it with the mounting holes. Insert the connection bolts and tighten them lightly for now. At this stage, just secure it enough to hold the joint in position while you make adjustments later.
Adjust the Angle
If you want to adjust the angle, you will need to loosen the adjustment locking bolts that allow this joint to move along the curved slot. You can now position it to the desired angle anywhere from 90° to 180°. This step is very important as you will need to ensure that this adjustment is in line with the layout provided before you can lock all of the adjustments down.
Securing the Joint
When the alignment is correct, position the two M8 bolts into the corresponding holes. Evenly tighten the nuts using a wrench. Try not to tighten one side all the way before the other – even tightening is important to achieve correct clamping pressure. Do not go over the specified torque to avoid undue stress on the material.
Safety Inspection
Following the tightening process, do an inspection of all bolts, welds, and contact interfaces. The joint should be flush to the truss with no gaps. Try using light manual force to see if there is any presence of movement. The connection should feel solid and completely stable before proceeding with load installation.
Static Testing
Prior to any equipment installation or event commence, a static test has to be completed. Do not exceed the rated maximum static load of 300 kg.
Critical Safety Notes
FAQ
1. Do you offer custom color options?
Yes. We offer custom surface finishing options, including:
Powder coating enhances corrosion resistance and improves visual integration with stage or truss systems.
2. Do you provide certificates for this product?
Yes. GF-Truss products are manufactured under strict quality control standards and are supported by CE certification and TÜV SUD structural safety testing. These certifications ensure compliance with international stage equipment and structural safety standards.
3.What is the maximum load capacity?
The adjustable joint supports up to 500 kg static load, depending on installation method and structural configuration. Always follow engineering guidelines and local regulations.
4. Is this hinge connector compatible with all truss systems?
The hinge connector is designed for standard aluminum truss systems. Custom mounting hole patterns can be manufactured upon request to match different truss brands and specifications.
